DANCE INSTRUCTORS
Andrew Abrams has been social dancing for more than thirty years. Although his favorite dance is Argentine tango, he enjoys all of the popular social dances. Andrew has dance hosted at the Stardust Dance Weekends and on luxury vacation cruise ships. His dance teaching record is full of grateful students. He is the founder of the organization "You Can Dance" which offers a no-nonsense approach to speedily converting social dance wannabees into confident dancers.

Karen Schneider has been successfully teaching social partner dancing for more than ten years. Her classes at the Stardust Dance Weekends and various venues in Westchester, NY have produced many happy dancers. She choreographed the 2005 performance of The Cubist Works of Pablo Picasso at Yonkers International Baccalaureate World School and at the Grinton I. Will Library in 2006, both televised by NewsChannel 12. Formally trained in tap, jazz and African jazz, she began her ballroom career in 1998 with performances at the Copacabana in NYC, Wainwright House in Rye, and earned 1st and 2nd place in the 1998 Fred Astaire, TriStar DanceSport Championships competitions.

Marisa Russignan has been teaching American Social Ballroom dance since 1988. She successfully completed a teacher training program with Arthur Murray Studios in 1988. Later, she trained and worked for Pierre Dulaine whose life is the basis for the movie "Mad Hot Ballroom". It featured his dance work with high school children in New York. In addition, Marisa competed in American Ballroom competitions for two years and was awarded numerous 1st and 2nd place awards for various smooth and latin dances including Hustle and Salsa. Marisa studied International Ballroom with World Champion, Richard Diaz which adds to her versatility. She excels at breaking down the various steps into easy to understand parts. Her teaching experience has been utilized in private classes in various studios in New York and New Jersey and in group classes at Adult Education programs in Hackensack, NJ and in Suffern, NY.

Victoria Muniz is an award winner in the Latin dances and especially Salsa. One of Vicky’s specialties is teaching women how to apply feminine dance moves to their dance repertoire.
